| About the Student Alumni Associates |

| SAA History... The Student Alumni Associates (SAA) is an official affiliate of the Virginia Tech Alumni
Association. In 1974, the SAA was chartered by the Alumni Association to assist with various alumni
programs. In addition, the SAA was organized to better orient undergraduates concerning the programs
of the Alumni Association. Traditionally, SAA has approximately 100 members who are engaged in a variety
of activities to promote Virginia Tech. |
