Low Techs Dance Group

Here at Virginia Tech, we love everything Hokie. We've got the Hokie Stone, the HokieBird, Hokie Spirit, and since 1998, the SAA Low Techs. Originally formed up as an ad hoc male performing group within SAA to do a spoof at a pep rally, the fun caught on, and over a decade later, the SAA Low Techs are well-known in the campus community. They are a regular feature at SAA spirit rallies and have performed for Relay for Life, Big Event, for numerous philanthropy events, and even a performance at Professor John Boyer's (the Plaid Avenger) World Regions class in Burruss Auditorium. Performing signature "Low Tech" moves and wearing black shorts and rip-off orange pants, the men of the Low Techs represent a wide range of Virginia Tech students. All must be members of the Student Alumni Associates of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association.
